Beatitude House, a ministry of Ursuline Sisters Mission, has provided supportive housing opportunities to those experiencing homelessness since 1991. Those served in our housing programs are offered a fully furnished apartment along with a supportive team to resolve barriers to housing while fostering hope for their future.
Our Housing Team, trained in trauma-informed care, creates a hospitable environment for those they are serving to thrive. Whether the focus is on maintaining a resident’s current home with us or seeking independent housing opportunities in the community, our Housing Team is available to empower each household member with the skills they need for their future.
In addition, children in our housing programs are offered a connection with our Children’s Program Coordinator, who can assist with educational advocacy, tutoring connections, and enrichment opportunities. Our goal is for each member to thrive while receiving our services!
What We Do
Permanent Supportive Housing
Permanent Supportive Housing is available in Mahoning County for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The Permanent Supportive Housing program provides ongoing, site-based and scattered site housing opportunities. Those in need of housing are referred through the county’s Coordinated Entry System by calling Help Network at 330.746.7721 ext. 412.
Currently, Beatitude House provides permanent supportive housing for 50 households at any given time. Those referred to us must have a documented, disabling condition; be below income requirements; and be literally homeless by HUD definition.
