The YWCA Mahoning Valley is a non-profit agency on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, dignity, and freedom for all. In 2018, YWCA Warren and YWCA Youngstown merged to become one YWCA serving the Valley. Established in 1904 in Youngstown, and 1916 in Warren, the YWCA has over 224 years' combined experience providing quality services and innovative programming to meet the changing needs of women, girls, and families in our region.
What We Do
Serving women and families under the mission of empowering women and eliminating racism is the focus of YWCA programs and services. Main program areas include Housing with Supportive Services, Youth Development, Empowerment Programs, and Racial Justice & Civil Rights.
