Join us as we expand our Young Women's Mentorship program to Youngstown's East Middle School.
We are asking women from our community to volunteer every other month. You will join students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades for lunch and an activity aimed at helping the girls increase their self-esteem, learn essential skills and talk to trusted adults.
Young Women's Mentorship at East Middle School will take place on:
- October 20th
- December 15th
- February 16th
- April 20th
- May 11th
We would like you to join us for 2 or 3 of the following sessions each time:
- 6th graders - 10:40am - 11:10am
- 7th graders - 11:20am - 11:50am
- 8th graders - 12:00pm - 12:30pm
If you can commit, please try to make at least 3 of the 5 sessions. It is best to be consistent for these students and show up as much as you can.
